Queensland youngster Rhyan Scriggins is attracting big English interest. The 11 year-old striker has been offered an academy place by Sheffield Wednesday and he is also interesting Manchester City and Bolton Wanderers.
Scriggins is the son of former Australian Olympics boxer Stefan Scriggins, who is a cousin of England legend Terry Butcher, currently in charge of Inverness Caley in Scotland.
"We talked about the Sheffield Wednesday offer, but knocked it on the head for the time being," Stefan told the Courier Mail.
"Rhyan is only 11. Basically, he's still scared of the dark . . . he has plenty of time.
