Leon Osman says Everton want to achieve as much success as possible in the FA Cup this campaign.
The midfielder was voted Man of the Match as the Toffees beat Cheltenham Town 5-1 at the Abbey Business Stadium on Monday night and he insists the Merseysiders are desperate to continue on in the competition.
"You need to go through - it's the FA Cup it's important," he said after scoring his sides third goal in the triumph.
"And it's important you come to places like this and go through and we've done that."
As for the fourth round trip to either Sunderland or Bolton, Osman added: "You are always looking for a home draw but we are going to have to go away to one of those teams which will be difficult.
"But we are looking to go as far as we can in the competition."
