Manchester United defender John O'Shea was delighted for Antonio Valencia after his scoring debut against Boca Juniors last night.

O'Shea told manutd.com: "It was especially good for Valencia. He's an all-round winger whose turn of pace is amazing.

"I think he'll be a huge addition to our squad this season. He attracts two defenders all the time and he's going to create space for our other attacking players. He was a huge positive for us and he'll just go from strength to strength."
