New England Revolution have waived defender Emmanuel Osei.

The 28-year old Ghanaian has been released after two years of service with the Revs, in which he appeared close to 50 times in MLS.

New England recently brought in University of California centre-half AJ Soares, paving the way for an Osei exit, which is exactly what occurred on Monday.

The former Hearts of Oak, Livorno, Poli Timisoara and Liberty man is now out of contract and on the lookout for a new home.
