Osasuna fullback Nacho Monreal is in the sights of Real Madrid.
Real are in the market for a new left-back with both Marcelo and Royston Drenthe failing to convince this season.
Diario de Navarra says Real vice-president Miguel Pardeza went well down the road in the summer with Osasuna in an attempt to sign Monreal and may try to revive negotiations in January.
Monreal, 23, is rated at £10 million by Osasuna and is also being tracked by Barcelona.
