Orlando City SC have announced that they have ticked over 12,000 season ticket sales.
The MLS expansion club have confirmed that they have moved past the 12k mark as they continue their preparations for their inaugural season in the USA and Canada's top flight.
Orlando City have set the goal at 14,000 members for their first MLS campaign, for which they will be housed at the Citrus Bowl in downtown Orlando, and are now less than 2000 behind that target.
Of the achievement, club president Phil Rawlins said: "Less than three weeks remain and we are 2,000 season tickets shy of our goal - a remarkable accomplishment by our team and a testament to the growing passion of soccer fans in this great city.
"For those still waiting on the sidelines to purchase their season tickets, I encourage you to act fast before you miss this historic opportunity. We have elected to cap our season tickets in order to deliver the best customer service as we transition to our brand new home in 2016. Don't miss out!"
The two-time USL PRO champions kick off their debut MLS season with a home fixture against fellow newcomers New York City FC on March 8.
