Orlando City star Kaka urges Liverpool icon Gerrard to be ready for MLS

Kaka has implored Steven Gerrard to make sure he is well-prepared for his foray into Major League Soccer.

The Liverpool legend will depart Anfield this summer to make the move to LA Galaxy after spending his entire career in England.

Gerrard has admitted he does not know what to expect when he exits his beloved club for the USA and Canada's top flight but Kaka, who joined Orlando City prior to the 2015 season, has urged him that he must be ready.

"I have good memories of Gerrard," former AC Milan and Real Madrid ace Kaka said in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.

"He was one of the players I loved to watch. I like the way that he plays and the way that he moves on the field. I'm so happy he's coming to play here. It's going to help the league a lot.

"I'm not sure I'm in a position to give him some advice for the league, but it's very competitive, so he will need to be ready to be competitive with his new team.

"It's a great experience to play in America in this league with this team and this project. I'm so happy here. Being the superstar of the league is not a pressure, it's a big motivation."
