Cyle Larin is eagerly anticipating having Brazilian star Kaka as one of his teammates at Orlando City this year.
The 19-year old Canadian striker was selected at pick number one by the expansion franchise at Thursday's MLS SuperDraft and can't wait to begin learning from the former Real Madrid and AC Milan attacking midfielder.
"Playing alongside Kaka, I watched him when I was younger, and now I feel really good. I want to start playing with him," Larin told MLSsoccer.com.
"I think it will be a good time for the team and a good time for me, and I think we can win something and do something really big in the season."
Larin is currently away with the Canadian U20 national team in Jamaica for the CONCACAF U20 Championships in which they have lost twice and won once thus far.
If Canada fails to make it out of the group stage, Connecticut Huskies star Larin will link up with his new Lions teammates in Orlando in late January to begin preparing for his debut MLS season.
