Divock Origi and Mamadou Sakho are in line to make their first starts of the season when Liverpool square off against Bordeaux in the Europa League opener on Thursday night.
Origi and Sakho have struggled for regular minutes on the pitch so far this season but the duo could be in contention from the outset night when the Reds meet the French club at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.
Following the disappointing defeat at the hands of Manchester United, manager Brendan Rodgers is expected to ring the changes and other fringe players such as Alberto Moreno, Jordon Ibe, Kolo Toure and Jordan Rossiter could be featuring as well.
Centre-back Sakho, who knows French football well from his time with Paris Saint-Germain, and Belgian striker Origi, formerly of Lille, could be inspired choices by Rodgers.
