Divock Origi has lauded his Liverpool teammates after he scored a brace against Everton on Wednesday.

The Reds romped to a resounding 5-2 win in the Merseyside derby, thanks to a first-half blitz from Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and Sadio Mane.

Speaking after the game, Origi said: "As a team we enjoy it, we love playing for Liverpool. The manager showed trust in me and I tried to repay it. It was an important game, a special game.

"One of our weapons is to go in behind and I had some wonderful service. We know we have a great team and we have to be at our best. Each individual is important."
