Leyton Orient have had a poor start to their League One campaign but boss Russell Slade is grateful to the club's supporters. The Os are still bottom of the pile but finally won their first match of the season at the 11th attempt when they sank Preston 2-1 at Brisbane Road on Saturday.
"They've been magnificent, every single one of them," said Slade.
"They've stayed with me, they've stayed with the team.
"I think they believe the team is trying and that the position in the table is not a true reflection of the state of the football club.
"It's a long way from being perfect but hopefully it's a big turning point."
