Chelsea can be classed as a top team as soon as they secure the Premier League title.
That is the sentiment of Jose Mourinho who saw his side take another step towards the premiership with a 0-0 draw at Arsenal on Sunday.
The Blues remain 10 points clear of the Gunners and Manchester City with five fixtures remaining, with the latter having a game less in hand, suggesting they are on the verge of winning the title.
When asked how Mourinho would like his potential championship side to be remembered, the Portuguese gave a measured answer.
"First of all, we need to be champions. We need to win the five points to be champions," he said.
"If we do that - and I think we are going to do that - we will be champions being top of the league since day one.
"Being top of the league since day one, only top teams can do that."
