West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson was full of praise for the defensive effort of his teammates in yesterday's scoreless draw with Manchester City.
The Baggies held the league leaders to no goals for the first time this campaign, which was Roy Hodgson's men first clean sheet in 10 outings, and Olsson was delighted with how the team performed.
"I think we deserved a point - especially on the back of our second half.
"It was a great point against a very good team. It's a challenge being up against the world-class strikers they have in the team and on the bench.
"We knew it was going to be hard but fair play to Ben [Foster] as well. And as a team I think we defended as a unit from Peter [Odemwingie] and Shane [Long] up front to the back.
"It was a very good clean sheet.""We're very pleased with a point and with our performance," Olsson told West Brom's official website.
