Paul Dickov claims he has rejected an approach to manage League One rivals Crawley Town out of loyalty to current employers Oldham. "It wasn't a very long conversation," Dickov said of Crawley's approach when he addressed the media after Tuesday night's 2-1 friendly victory over Manchester City.
"I love what I'm doing here, I love my job. I'm very respectful and flattered that Crawley did approach me but, at the same time, I want to try and build something here.
"I don't think loyalty is rife in the game at the moment. Simon (Corney) has given me a chance and I want to show a bit of loyalty back as well."
