Okocha sees Iwobi score for Everton in Man Utd: This goal's for him

Everton attacker Alex Iwobi was happy to score in defeat to Manchester United.

The former Arsenal man gave Frank Lampard's side a first half lead, but a swift response from Antony and a second half goal from Cristiano Ronaldo ensured it was United who left with all three points.

Speaking to Everton's official website after the match, Iwobi said: "The manner in which we conceded their two goals, it was something that we were talking about before the game. We know the threat that they have on the counter-attack. We tried to nulify that but we weren't able to do so, couple of mistakes, it's something that we can't dwell on too long."

Speaking about his own goal, he added: "When the ball came to me I thought 'the keeper's unsighted here. Let me try and place it'. It's something to add to my game, hopefully there's more goals like that to come."

Iwobi confirmed that his uncle - former Premier League star Jay-Jay Okocha - was in the crowd and he dedicated his goal to the ex-Bolton favourite.
