OH Leuven rubbish claims Leicester owners influencing Pearson selection

OH Leuven insiders deny claims selection policy has been influenced by their Thai owners.

OHL are partners with Leicester City and count on former Foxes manager Nigel Pearson as head coach.

HLN says the appearance of Thai goalkeeper Kawin Thamsatchanan in place of Nick Gillekens for the game with Roeselare was on the orders of the club's owners.

However, OHL deny Pearson is being told who to select.

"The selection of the team is the responsibility of the manager Nigel Pearson and all decisions on this matter are taken by him in good conscience," said the club.

OHL lost 2-1 on the day, with Thamsatchanan impressing in the defeat.
