Reading have confirmed that Jordan Obita has signed a new contract with the club.
The 21-year-old full-back has put pen to a three-year deal with the Royals which will keep him at the Madejski Stadium until at least the summer of 2018.
Obita made his debut with Reading as a 16-year-old in 2010 and is seen as having an extremely bright future with the Berkshire club.
Manager Steve Clarke told the club's official website: “I'm delighted that Jordan has committed to Reading Football Club by signing his new deal.
"He is a young player with a great future ahead."
Director of Football Nick Hammond added: “It's an important signing for the club because he's an outstanding young player who is destined for big things."
