Victor Obinna is happy he listened to Nwankwo Kanu when seeking advice about a move to West Ham United.
Obinna revealed that he had sought the advice of Nigeria legend Kanu, who worked under Hammers manager Avram Grant at Portsmouth, and a number of his other compatriots, before choosing to move to London.
He told whufc.com: "I spoke to some of them. I spoke to Nwankwo Kanu because he's a legend to every one of us and an inspiration to so many young footballers like me. We look up to him for advice before coming here. Him also knowing the manager very well convinced me to come to West Ham."
