New Zealand international Chris Wood hit the target as West Bromwich Albion grabbed a 2-0 win over Leyton Orient in the Carling Cup overnight.
The 18-year old striker added the Baggies second goal in the 90th minute, half an hour after coming onto the pitch, to secure a path through to the third round of the competition.
Pablo Ibanez put West Brom ahead in the 29th minute before Wood cut in from the right and then put a low shot past Leyton keeper Jamie Jones to make it 2-0 just before the final whistle.
