NZ international Wood back amongst the goals for Leicester

Chris Wood broke a nine-match scoring drought for Leicester City on Tuesday night.

The New Zealand international netted from the penalty spot in the 39th minute as the Foxes came from behind to beat Bolton 3-2 in the English Championship.

Leicester fell behind when David N'Gog converted his third-minute penalty before Wood levelled at King Power Stadium and then Lloyd Dyer edged the home side ahead.

Darren Pratley equalised for the Trotters in the 71st minute but Jeffrey Schlupp found a winner just over ten minutes from time to send Leicester above Bolton and into sixth spot where they will qualify for the Premier League playoffs.

Wood had not scored since the February 26 win over Blackburn Rovers but managed to notch up his 19th league goal of the season and eighth since arriving at Leicester from West Bromwich Albion in January. He scored 11 on loan with Millwall.
