New York Red Bulls striker Juan Agudelo faces around six weeks on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on his left knee.
The 19-year old tore his medial meniscus whilst on duty with the USA U23 team for Olympic qualifying against Cuba last week and will now spend about a month-and-a-half recovering.
Agudelo's injury leaves the Red Bulls with just two recognized strikers in Thierry Henry and Kenny Cooper as Luke Rodgers is still trying to sort out his visa issues.
