New York Red Bulls have waived Brazilian winger Rafhinha.

The 21-year old joined the Red Bulls in March but has been released after failing to force his way into the Red Bulls first team.

Austrian-born Rafhinha previously played with Brazilian club Toledo but has now been moved on as New York look to sign a new attacker in the form of trialists Bradley Wright-Phillips and Sebastien Stachnik.
