New York Red Bulls head coach Mike Petke says the club will soon make a decision on Bradley Wright-Phillips.
The 28-year old English striker has been on trial with the Red Bulls of late but now comes the time for the MLS club to work out whether or not they will be bringing him in for at least the remainder of the 2013 season.
"I think that issue will certainly be resolved - and I might be thinking very, very optimistic - but within a day One way or the other," Petke said.
Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh added of the former Manchester City, Southampton and Charlton Athletic forward: "I hope we can sign him."
