The first two games at the new Red Bull Arena has attracted plenty of interest, not only with crowd numbers but also with TV figures.
The MLS season opener against the Chicago Fire had 310,000 viewers on ESPN whilst the Grand Opening the week prior against Brazil's Santos attracted more than 60,000 viewers.
An ESPN executive said the numbers were a great result for MLS.
"That's good viewership considering the competition, the NCAA tournament games were on, I believe Kentucky being upset. So for MLS, that's pretty good viewership,'' said the executive.
