NYRB dismiss claims they have signed Egyptian keeper Soliman

New York Red Bulls have denied reports that they had signed Egyptian goalkeeper El-Hany Soliman.

It was believed that the 27-year old El-Ittihad gloveman had penned a three-year deal with the Red Bulls but a source close to the club has dismissed those rumours.

Egyptian Footy had even posted on Twitter that El-Hany's brother Amr had confirmed the deal had been struck but a New York source told the NY Post that "We have not signed anyone,'' with their PR staff calling the report "completely false."

Soliman, who trained with LA Galaxy during the off-season, has over 20 caps for the Egypt national team, now coached by former USA boss Bob Bradley.
