New York Cosmos have announced the signing of midfielder Joseph Nane and defender Juan Gonzalez.
26-year old Cameroonian Nane joins the Cosmos after departing Colorado Rapids at the end of last season whilst 25-year old Colombian Gonzalez impressed during the NASL Combine earlier this year.
"When you watch Joseph play, you can quickly see the commanding physical presence he has on the field," said Cosmos head coach Giovanni Savarese. "The combination of his defensive skill and stature should help us a lot in the middle of the pitch."
Regarding Gonzalez he added: "Juan is a versatile defender who can help solidify the depth we plan to have on our team. He's a hard-worker that I expect will grow well with the Cosmos."
