Nuno under consideration by Marinakis at Forest

Former Wolves and Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has emerged as a candidate for the Nottingham Forest position.

The City Ground club are still contemplating the future of well-liked manager Steve Cooper.

While Cooper does have many admirers at the club, owner Evangelos Marinakis is not happy at the club being so close to the relegation zone.

Per The Mail, Nuno is one who may appeal to Forest, given his pedigree in the game.

He is a client of Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes, while his time at Wolves is looked on favorably.

Santo managed to get the club to seventh placed finishes on two occasions in the Premier League.

He also helped Wolves reach the quarter finals of the Europa League in 2020.
