Queens Park Rangers took their unbeaten run to 10 matches with a narrow 1-0 win over Leicester City at Loftus Road this afternoon.
West Bromwich Albion loanee Ishmael Miller scored his first goal for QPR with two minutes remaining in regular time to beat off a plucky Foxes outfit as the West London club extended their lead over Swansea City to eight points after lost 1-0 at lowly Scunthorpe United.
In other notable Championship results, Leeds United completely dominated Doncaster Rovers in the second half at Elland Road to run out 5-2 winners after the visitors took the lead early in the second term. Max-Alain Gradel and Jonathan Howson each scored twice whilst Luciano Becchio notched his 16th league goal of the campaign.
The same scoreline applied to Reading's meeting with Middlesbrough at Madejski Stadium with the Royals taking the points to stay 10th on the table. Ian Harte and Shane Long both netted twice for the victors whilst Leroy Lita struck a brace against his former club.
And Bristol City smashed four past Coventry City to win 4-1 at Ricoh Arena to move up to 14th as Hull City knocked Nottingham Forest to fifth with a 1-0 win at the City Ground with Matt Fryatt scoring on his 25th birthday.
