Notts County have made a sensational move for Portuguese defender Jorge Andrade.

The Daily Mail says Notts County have handed a trial to free agent Andrade as they look to replace Sol Campbell.

The former Porto, Deportivo la Coruna and Juventus defender, 31, has spent two weeks training with the League Two club.

Andrade, an ex-Portugal centre back, has suffered a series of serious knee injuries but believes he can still play at the top level.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a big fan of Andrade, who can also count on Jose Mourinho among his admirers.
