Notts County chief Eriksson going back to Man City for Schmeichel

Notts County chief Sven Goran Eriksson is going back to Manchester City to boost his goalkeeper options.

The Daily Mail says Eriksson has gone back to former club Manchester City in a bid to recruit keeper Kasper Schmeichel.

The deal for the 22-year-old could be worth £1.5million.

Despite having a long-term contract, the son of Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has spent most of the past three seasons on loan at various clubs.
