Notts County boss Steve Cotterill says goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is ready for the Premiership.

Schmeichel, the son of former Manchester United keeper Peter Schmeichel, left top-flight Manchester City to join the Magpies on a five-year deal last August.

Former Burnley manager Cotterill said of the young Dane: "He easily has to be the best keeper in this division."
