Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Greg Halford on loan from Nottingham Forest.
The versatile 29-year old has joined the Seagulls on a one-month deal with manager Sami Hyypia keen to strengthen his side amidst some injury concerns.
Halford, who has formerly played with Colchester United, Sheffield United and Portsmouth, comes to the Amex Stadium capable of operating as a defender, midfielder or forward.
"With Aaron Hughes out injured we were faced with a similar problem we have had in goal and needed cover," Hyypia told the club's official website.
"Greg has an abundance of experience not only in the Championship but also in the Premier League, and with Aaron out we wanted that level of experience to be replaced as well, so he is a good fit."
