Nottingham Forest's sale to a Chinese group has stalled.

The Sun says a Chinese consortium's proposed £20million takeover of Nottingham Forest has cooled.

A source said: "It's dragging on. Both parties are pointing the finger at the other over the delay."

Former chairman Nigel Doughty put the club up for sale, citing his failure to lead the team back to the Premier League.
