Stoke City are seeking £1.5 million for midfielder Michael Tonge.
The Sunday Mirror says Tonge can escape his Stoke nightmare with a £1.5million move to Cardiff, Nottingham Forest or Scottish Premier League champions Rangers.
The trio are in a fight to sign the Manchester-born midfielder,27, who has failed to make an impact since joining the Potters from Sheffield United for £2million two years ago.
Tonge has made only 10 appearances for Tony Pulis's side, and has now been told he does not figure in the Britannia Stadium boss's plans for the new season.
