Robbie Findley is set for a MLS return after having his contract with Nottingham Forest mutually terminated.
The 27-year old American striker arrived at the City Ground in January 2011 from Real Salt Lake but managed a total of just 29 appearances and scoring six goals.
Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi thanked Findley for his contributions to the club: "I would like to thank Robbie for the service he has given Nottingham Forest and wish him every success for the future."
Findley's MLS rights currently lie with Portland Timbers who acquired them through the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft but it is believed they have agreed a trade with RSL to send him back to Utah.
