Nottingham Forest have launched an appeal against their four points deduction.
Forest was given the penalty for breaching the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules.
An independent commission found Forest's losses to 2022-23 breached the threshold of £61m by £34.5m.
The penalty sees Forest drop into the relegation zone in 18th place on the table.
Forest stated: "Nottingham Forest can confirm that it has today lodged an appeal against the four point sanction imposed by the Commission in relation to the Club's breach of the Premier League's Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR).
"The club will not be making any further statement at this time."
Everton were successful in their appeal of having a 10 point penalty reduced to six this season.
