Nottingham Forest boss Nuno has explained adding ex-ref Mark Clattenburg to their staff
Clattenburg has joined as a referee analyst.
Ahead of facing Aston Villa, Nuno said: “Appointing Mark was more to try to understand some of the decisions that are being made, and try to understand the interpretation of the referee and VAR.
“Once again, we had an incident this week, against West Ham, which was clear. Neither the referee or VAR made the right decision, I think, because in my opinion, it was a clear penalty. It's trying to understand some of the decisions.
“I haven't spoken to him since (that incident). But we met before and we are going to meet again soon. It is about understanding and to hope the decisions come right, because that's what all the clubs want."
Asked if Clattenburg will help him directly, Nuno joked: “Probably. I will not get yellow cards!"
