Not enough patience with Villas-Boas suggests Chelsea great Zola

Gianfranco Zola believes that Chelsea are trying to change their style so they can play like Barcelona and has suggested that the club was not patient enough with Andres Villas-Boas.

The Blues sacked the Portuguese tactician in March but former star striker Zola feels he was not given enough time in the role, especially as the West Londoners have been looking to alter their game plan.

"I think what Chelsea want to do is to change their style of play," the Italian opined in an interview with El Pais. "The idea of Barca's football appeals to everyone, and also them.

"However, with Villas-Boas, they had no patience in terms of the results, which were not considered up to expectations."
