Pep Guardiola reportedly wants another player at Manchester City once he completes a deal for Claudio Bravo.
The Manchester Evening News is reporting that Guardiola is not yet fully happy with his summer transfer work and will make a new central defender a priority, despite spending £47.5million on John Stones.
As the club looks to offload Joe Hart, Chilean goalkeeper Bravo is set to join City from Barcelona for around £14m and as soon as that goes through, the focus will shift to further defensive reinforcements.
Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci remains high on Guardiola's wish-list as questions mark continue to hang over the head of Nicolas Otamendi.
Captain Vincent Kompany is still injured and Eliaquim Mangala is set to be sold which has prompted Guardiola to keep pursuing a world-class centre-half before the end of August.
City has already spent close to £150m on new additions this summer in the form of Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, Leroy Sane, Nolito, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Marlos Moreno and Gabriel Jesus with the latter to join next year.
