Norwich City midfielder Anthony Pilkington has scoffed at Samir Nasri's attempts to head-butt teammate Sebastien Bassong.

The Manchester City midfielder was sent off for his actions, though his teammates rescued him with victory at Carrow Road.

"I am sure he wouldn't have done it if he wasn't on the football pitch," said Pilkington. "I think he had a few of his lads behind him."
