Norwich City's Delia Smith and her husband Michael Wynn-Jones, majority shareholders at Carrow Road, have revealed that the booze was flowing as they celebrated the “incredible" victory against Manchester City.

Norwich stunned the champions on Saturday.

“It was incredible… a lot of alcohol was consumed," she told talkSPORT.

“We are totally overwhelmed. I don't think we could move yesterday, we were so tired.

“Yesterday our head of recruitment was at the match with us, so I was getting down on my knees and bowing down to him! I mean, we got [Teemu] Pukki on a free – a really good striker on a free!"
