Norwich City striker Josh Sargent feels he and Teemu Pukki can develop a positive partnership after defeat to Watford.
Sargent came in for his first Premier League start against the Hornets and looked sharp in the final third, particularly when linking up with Pukki.
He told the club's website: “I'm hoping (I can develop the partnership with Pukki). The more we play together, the more we'll get to know each other's tendencies.
“Hopefully we can continue to play together and to build that relationship."
Looking ahead, Sargent says it's important City switch their focus away from Saturday's match quickly as they prepare for a Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool on Tuesday night.
“Obviously, the guys are going to be disappointed tonight. But we'll sleep it off, go into training tomorrow and get ready for this cup game."
