Norwich striker Morison not interested in swapping shirts with Chelsea defender Terry

Norwich City's Wales striker Steve Morison has no interest in swapping shirts with England's players.

Morison, 28, will complete a journey from non-League to the grandest stage of all in front of a packed house when he spearheads Gary Speed's side against England.

"I won't be swapping shirts," he said. "I did that with Millwall a couple of times, people I'd played with at youth level. But there's no way I want to run over to someone and ask for their shirt.

"If someone wants mine, I'm more than happy to hand it over - but I'm not going to ask for theirs. My opinion is that if I've not known him off the pitch, why would I want his shirt?

"You can't go into these games, thinking, 'Oh my gosh, it's John Terry,' or swooning at the sight of Fernando Torres.

"If we are on the pitch at the same time, we are equals. There's no right or wrong way. I'm not criticising anyone, it's just the way I am."
