Norwich City and Reading are ready to bid for West Ham United striker Carlton Cole.
The Mirror says the one-time England international, however, is determined to stay at Upton Park and was said to be disappointed when he learned of the club's plans to cash-in on him.
Cole's contract expires this summer and West Ham have added Marouane Chamakh and Wellington Paulista to their growing contingent of on-loan strikers this month with Andy Carroll soon to be fit again.
