Norwich City are closing in on Birmingham City goalkeeper coach Dave Watson.
The Daily Star Sunday says Watson, 38, was given a short-term role in the England set-up by new boss Roy Hodgson going into Euro 2012 - and is regarded by many as the best in nurturing young, talented keepers.
Watson is keen to be reunited with his former boss Chris Hughton, now in charge at Carrow Road - and Norwich are happy to pay a small compensation fee.
