Norwich midfielder Alex Tettey grateful to away support after Man Utd defeat

Norwich City midfielder Alex Tettey praised the away support after defeat at Manchester United.

Despite the 4-0 scoreline, the City faithful could be heard backing the lads right up until and beyond the final whistle, and Tettey hopes they can do the same again at Carrow Road next week.

“Thank-you, we heard all of you from the first minute to the end," he said.

“It's a massive game on Saturday and we will need every one of you in every second of the game to help us get three points. Let's hear the support we know you have.

"Come in numbers and help us get the three points."

Tettey also touched on the topic of Adam Idah's first Premier League start, after the 18-year old did not look out of place in the absence of top goal scorer Teemu Pukki.

“Adam did brilliant for us, to play his second game against two good central defenders at Old Trafford isn't easy. He has a very bright future at this club."
