Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul: Sheffield Utd defeat hard to take

Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul admits defeat at Sheffield United was hard to take.

Billy Sharp's first-half header was the decisive blow in a closely-fought contest where City failed to show a clinical edge in front of goal.

Speaking to canaries.co.uk, Krul said: “It's hard to take. In the second-half, we had a couple of massive chances to at least get a point.

“It's been a good week until now but that shows the highs and lows of this league. One day, you're on a massive high and the other day you're on a massive low.

“They have done that against a lot of teams this year. We knew coming here that Sheffield United is not an easy place.

“I thought we dug in but the one moment we switched off at the back, they capitalised on it.

“It's hard to take because I really felt this could have been the push to go into Southampton at home next week and move forward.

“We need to recoup and look in the mirror because we made a couple of mistakes today. But we also need to stick together and go again."
