Norwich City and Derby County are chasing Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes this week.
The Telegraph says Rhodes is a target for the Championship promotion rivals and both clubs are set to battle over a loan deal before they face each other at Carrow Road this weekend.
Rovers are under a transfer embargo after breaching the Football League's financial fair play rules and the board are expected to make a decision on Rhodes' future in the next 48 hours.
Blackburn are likely to seek an agreement that the deal becomes permanent in the summer - nearly seven months after turning down £12million from Hull City.
