Norwich on brink of club record

Norwich City are on the brink of making club history.

Norwich will stretch their unbeaten record to nine games if they avoid defeat against the Swans - their best-ever run in the Premier League.

It would eclipse the previous best of eight games set up by Mike Walker's side in the 1993-1994 season.

Boss Chris Hughton said: "We are on a good run and when that happens there are always lots of statistics flying about. But at the end of the day it is all about just one thing - winning games."

Norwich still have some way to go to beat their best ever top- flight run. That was 15 games unbeaten by Ken Brown's 1986- 1987 team in the old Division 1.
