Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is under mounting pressure going into their game with Stoke City.
The Mirror says Canaries boss Hughton knows he must turn things around quickly, as just one win in the first five Premier League fixtures has left them facing a difficult season.
The Carrow Road club's hierarchy were delighted with Hughton's summer transfer business.
They were hoping new faces such as Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Nathan Redmond, Gary Hooper and Leroy Fer would mean a strong season after flirting with relegation last season.
But Hughton has managed just four wins from his last 21 games in the league, and needed extra time to beat Championship side Watford in the League Cup on Tuesday.
The Stoke match is vital, because Norwich's next two games are against Chelsea and Arsenal.
